The penthouse apartment has a nice terrace with a thatch roof from where you can enjoy the sunset. The garden apartment is very spacious with a wonderful patio at the water's edge.
Vronie and Geert were very helpful and always there to make this a special family vacation. No wonder there are only 5 star ratings. They absolute deserve it!

In summary, this is one of the best places my husband and and I have ever stayed and we travel a lot, for work and fun. From the moment we booked our stay the absolutely wonderful Vronie was an incredible host. She communicated quickly and kindly with us, arranging details of our arrival and helping us with tips to arrange our diving and car hire etc. and giving us other tips for restaurant bookings and activities so that we could plan. All of these things illustrate how much Vronie cares, and how much she does to ensure that her guests have the best time on in Bonaire (which is a fabulous destination). When we arrived Vronie and Geert (who is also wonderful) were there to meet us and help us make the necessary arrangements to address the stressful experience we had with our luggage having been left behind at our connection in Amsterdam and to pick up our hire car. On the luggage issue, Vronie continued to help us by giving us all sorts of spare toiletries, explaining where we could buy everything we would need until our luggage turned... When we arrived Vronie and Geert (who is also wonderful) were there to meet us and help us make the necessary arrangements to address the stressful experience we had with our luggage having been left behind at our connection in Amsterdam and to pick up our hire car. On the luggage issue, Vronie continued to help us by giving us all sorts of spare toiletries, explaining where we could buy everything we would need until our luggage turned up and then communicating with contacts she had at the airport the whole next day and until our luggage was safely delivered, she really was amazing. We would have been so stressed without her and Geert’s kind help and support.

As we had booked our break very late we stayed across 2 different rooms, we were first in the King Room and then we moved to the North suite. Both rooms were absolutely excellent, very stylishly furnished (really beautiful) and spotlessly clean. We hadn’t expected a view from the king room, but the sideways sea view from the window was actually great, much prettier than expected. The sea view from the North suite’s window was stunning! At one point we even saw giant parrotfish in the sea from the window. We didn't stay in the South Suite at all but I imagine its view is just as good if not better (I think it has a bigger balcony).

There is lots of room for storing your clothes and luggage and everything you need for cold and hot drinks in the rooms. Honestly, Vronie and Geert think of everything you might need. We have stayed so many places which are lovely but which are missing something to make them perfect, but Vronie and Geert have thought of those things. Each room has its own clothes drying rack, so necessary when you're spending so much time in the sea. On top of that, and really above and beyond, each room has its own locker under the house to store outdoor/diving equipment in and with a cooler for the beach! The shared kitchen is brilliantly equipped and an easy place to cook meals. The view from the kitchen and the terrace outside is also amazing (as are all the house’s views) and it’s a beautiful place to sit and watch out for the osprey that fishes nearby.

The house’s little beach area with plunge pool is a lovely place to relax and the snorkeling from it is great for variety of fish. You could probably do a good dive right there too!

We are desperate to come back and holiday here again, the diving in Bonaire is the best and the best place to stay while doing it has to be One Ocean, thank you so much Vronie and Geert!!! More

We have stayed in several different places on Bonaire, and none compares to One Ocean.
